Hello Jose, Let me give you a little example… I travel almost constantly for work and when I go to France, I can’t expect the French to all speak English… in fact, when I speak English (because my French sucks) I get treated like shit. Rightfully so if I am in France and do not make the effort to speak French. I am not in England or America. When I go to Germany, I cannot get upset when the cab driver doesn’t know where the hell I’m asking to be taken in English… he’s GERMAN! How can I expect them to speak English just because I’m a dumb monolingual American? However, when I am in the United States of America, the language is and always has been English… so if people come to this great country of tolerance isn’t it reasonable to expect that they learn English if they want to be accepted by our very welcoming society? If they don’t want to speak English then they should go the hell to where they speak their language of choice and stop pissing and moaning!! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with not liking immigrants. Unless your a Native American, you’re an immigrant – you, me, and everyone else that doesn’t wear a feather headdress. In case this minor detail slipped your attention, America is a country made entirely of immigrants and American immigrants have all agreed to speak English long before your sorry, whining ass arrived on this planet. Although we should technically all be speaking Navajo, go to an Indian reservation and you will see that they too have agreed to speak English. In America, majority rules! Read about the history of the English language and how it came about (if you can read) and you will see that English is known far and wide as the ‘language of the common people’. If you think English speakers are all rats, then bounce on outta Ratville! No one brought you here forcefully and no one will cry when you leave.

Listen… People that want to speak english learn to speak it. If people don’t know english is because they are not interested in being part of this world of rats.. Its clear that USA is to be freedom of speech and press (etc), so why do people what to enforce english??

Let people speak the language they want to speak and stop tring to be so so controlling over people’s lifes. Live your and let others live theirs how they wish..

By the way immigrants snapped!!! Their the best. And if you disagree well stop. If you hate immigrantes get a life, and stop fight for a land that isn’t yours, because you do know part of the USA was stolen from Mexcio right? And those that come here just want to work their own land…

So what language do we all have to learn? haha If they don’t want us to speak English, then what language are they in favor of? I smell a rat…there’s more to this than meets the eye…besides a Republican wanting these Democrats out of office by trying to make people think we have to go out and learn a new language. Why should they waste time writing into law that English has to be our official language…when it already is our official language. That would be redundant. That’s like saying they don’t want the United States being officially known as the United States…too late…it’s already known as such. haha
